Đại học Southern Queensland (USQ) được thành lập vào năm 1967 là một trường đại học năng động cung cấp các chương trình đào tạo chất lượng có tiếng tăm ở đủ mọi cấp bậc và cực kỳ linh động qua cả hai hình thức đào tạo trực tuyến lẫn đào tạo trực tiếp. Với hơn 27,000 sinh viên đến từ hơn 110 quốc gia theo học hơn 700 khóa học, USQ được đánh giá là trường đại học có môi trường học tập ưu tiên hỗ trợ và đặt sinh viên làm trọng tâm cho tất cả các hoạt động. Trong 3 năm liên tiếp, USQ được xếp hạng là đại học số 1 nước Úc về mức lương của sinh viên ra trường.
