Chương trình Văn bằng Điều dưỡng là khóa học 18 tháng cung cấp cho sinh viên kiến thức, kỹ năng và thuộc tính để thực hành như một Y tá đã đăng ký. Văn bằng Điều dưỡng cũng cung cấp cho sinh viên con đường liên thông để vào học năm thứ hai của khóa Cử nhân Điều dưỡng tại Đại học Wollongong.

2. Cấu trúc khoá học:

Reflect on and improve own professional practice

Confirm physical health status

Analyse and respond to client health information

Practise nursing within the Australian health care system

Apply communication skills in nursing practice

Perform clinical assessment and contribute to planning in nursing care

Implement, monitor and evaluate nursing care plans

Contribute to nursing care of a person with complex needs

Apply principles of wound management in the clinical environment

Administer and monitor medicines and intravenous therapy

Apply legal and ethical parameters to nursing practice

Follow safe work practices for direct client care

Implement and monitor care for a person with mental health conditions

Implement and monitor care for a person with acute health problems

Implement and monitor care for a person with chronic health problems

Implement and monitor care of the older person

Apply nursing practice in the primary health care system

Comply with infection prevention and control policies and procedures
